Above prices include permits to catch and retain one fish, and provided you have never been fly fishing before it includes a temporary rod licence for the duration of the lesson.
Take advantage of my special deal. Should you wish to bring a junior (16 years old and under) they will not be charged for tuition, but can take advantage of my services, provided they are accompanied by a full paying and responsible adult. Please be aware that if they over 12 years of age they will need to purchase a junior rod licence, unless they have never been fly fishing before, in which case the same applies as stated above. I have had full training in child protection, and have been cleared through the criminal records bureau. I do not teach children under the age of 10.

Guiding on reservoirs includes a permit to catch and retain one fish, additional permits can be purchased when necessary at £5/permit.
A 2 hour session for 1 person will be £50, for each additional person add £10, which includes the permit to fish on the lake.
Because it is winter we will be unable to fish for trout as the season is closed, this will be purely a casting instruction session, so only a tag of wool will be used as an indicator.
I charge £30 per hour or part there of. The reasoning behind this pricing structure is simple, Sea Trout can be very fickle, they can ‘switch off’ with the slightest drop in temperature, and I can usually tell within the first hour of fishing whether it is worthwhile carrying on. Because of this I would not want to take your money without a realistic chance of catching a fish, no other guide on the Teign offers this arrangement.
However there is no limit to the time we could stay if the fishing was exceptional. Ultimately it is always down to you, if you want to persevere, that is no problem. The clock starts ticking as soon as the first cast is made!
Permits are £20 per person, which last for 24 hours and also include Salmon and Brown Trout fishing on the river Teign.

Use of all fishing equipment is free of charge, rods, reels, waders etc.

I have a special tuition permit available for trout fishing on South West Lakes which is £5.00 per ticket and allows you to fish and retain one trout whilst under my instruction and whilst being guided.
Fly box selections for river/stream or still water are priced very competitively at £20, these boxes on their own usually retail for over £25 without any flies included!
Individual patterns tied to order starting at £1.00 each for Brown Trout and £2.50 each for Sea Trout.
Framed flies are £35 per frame.
Framed pictures are £25 per frame.
