Full day based upon 6 hours for 1 person is £125, for each additional person add £20, max 4.
Half day based upon 4 hours for 1 person is £85, for each additional person add £10, max 4.
Take advantage of my special deal. Should you wish to bring a junior (16 years old and under) they will not be charged for tuition, but can take advantage of my services, provided they are accompanied by a full paying and responsible adult. Please be aware that if they over 12 years of age they will need to purchase a junior rod licence. I have had full training in child protection, and have been cleared through the criminal records bureau.
I charge £25 per hour or part there of. The reasoning behind this pricing structure is simple, Sea Trout can be very fickle, then can ‘switch off’ with the slightest drop in temperature, and I can usually tell within the first hour of fishing whether it is worthwhile carrying on. Because of this I would not want to take your money without a realistic chance of catching a fish, no other guide on the Teign offers this arrangement.
However there is no limit to the time we could stay if the fishing was exceptional. Ultimately it is always down to you, if you want to persevere, that is no problem. The clock starts ticking as soon as the first cast is made!
These are priced as individual packages dependant upon your exact requirements, please contact me and we can discuss the best package for you, be it tuition, guiding or a combination of both and different target species.
Use of all fishing equipment is free of charge, rods, reels, waders etc.
Wet weather gear is not provided, please dress according to predicted weather conditions, see my links page for weather conditions.
Rod licences are available from post offices or online, see my links page; permits are not included (except for courses and corporate days).
Permits range from small fisheries at £10 to fish and priced at £2/lb of fish caught.
South West Lakes vary between venues, 4-6 fish ticket will cost in the region of £19.
Salmon and Sea trout approx £20, and brown trout starts at £10/day.
Fly box selections for river/stream or still water are priced very competitively at £14.
Individual patterns tied to order starting at £0.80 each.
Framed flies are £35 per frame.
Framed pictures are £25 per frame.
